About DPPDir
DPPDir is a register for digital product passports across product categories. It connects a product’s unique identifier to its published digital passport. Depositing a passport means recording its identifier and link after publication. Drafts remain private.
DPPDir is a private register operated by DataChanges B.V., separate from the official EU registry. A listing is not EU registration, certification or proof of product compliance. Access to restricted information follows the access rules of the service hosting the passport.
Identification and availability
Use the full identification link, a GS1 Digital Link path such as /01/{GTIN}/21/{serial}, or a data-identifier link such as ?.25P={product}&.S={serial}. A product name or serial number alone is not sufficient.
Compressed GS1 identifiers and self-issued scheme 2 identifiers are not yet supported. This service does not claim full conformity with all DPP requirements.
DPPDir is designed to preserve identification links as hosting and software change. Continuity requires management, backup and transfer arrangements. No unlimited retention or uninterrupted availability is promised.
